Playing CroquetEastwood Croquet Club welcomes new members and provides free introductory lessons before joining to anyone new to the game, and on-going support to new players.

Croquet can be played and enjoyed by people of a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and by those with no previous sports experience. New players today at Eastwood Croquet Club generally begin playing Golf Croquet after 2 or 3 lessons.

It’s then up to you to decide if and when you want to learn and play Association Croquet, with lessons also available. Gateball is another option available at any time.

If you’re 12 years of age or over and wondering "Is Croquet For Me?" we warmly invite you to come along and try it out, at a time arranged with our beginners' coach, or at one of our monthly social afternoons.  You can also meet the members at afternoon tea afterwards, no charge!  There’s also no need to buy any special clothing or equipment at the outset.  We have mallets for the use of visitors, learners and new members free of charge.
